Pen vs. Upholstery

I was shopping at the mall with my son and daughter and went into one of our favourite stores to look at their fantastic selection of gorgeous shoes, winter jackets, purses, etc. We were all enjoying the items we found and went to try on shoes. The seating did not match the high end look of the store so I offered them some suggestions. Eventually I met with the decision makers and started to renovate the seating with the fabrics they selected for the store. I brought in extra bench seating for them to use when everything was getting re-upholstery so the store would not be disrupted. It is a very busy store and we made sure that they could still operate as usual . 

The fabrics needed to be carefully placed in order for it to look its ultimate best in keeping with the high end look of this store. For example, here is the before and after picture of this bench:

Not only was the store thrilled with the results so were their customers! The re-upholstery changed the entire store and we were able to find the perfect fabrics to suit the store and brand.

What happens when a child with a pen meets store upholstery?

Recently we received an email regarding one of their other locations. A young child took a blue pen to all the vinyl seating in the store. This is only one example of many situations stores are faced with which can be very costly to repair. New suggestions have been made to them which would help tremendously with these situations. They are keen to look at all their options with us.
